Japanese Beekeeper Is Extremely Hands-On

Johnny Mason, February 20, 2012:

Well, this is certainly one way to do it...although I probably won't be trying his methods any time soon.

77 year old Japanese farmer, Hisaki Nasu has a pretty hands-on approach while caring for his honey bees. He even gets the camera operator in this video in on the action.

While I don't understand most (ok, all) of what is being said, I did notice that 1.8 liters of his honey goes for 26, 000 yen. That comes out to roughly $300 US dollars, depending on conversion rates for the day. Hmmm...I guess that includes hazard pay.
